What do you love? What do you pray for?

I think there are times in life when we think about these questions in some very light ways. Now is not that time. I love my family, my daughters, my son and my husband.  I love my elders and my teachers. I love my neighborhood. Even when my neighbors break in my car, break in my house…break my heart. I love life. Even when it drew the final breath from my mother and left her to sleep forever. I was not sure life and I would make it in our union then but here we still are – together – seeing what we can do.

I pray this life is not lived in vain. I pray I always love.
