At the time it seemed
They would laaaaast
For
Ever
My girls floated in space around me
All beads and braids and giggles and ballies
And I’d dip my wand into a late night of creating fractal wonders atop their heads
Blow a little more love through the eye
Bubbles glittering around me like a country night sky
So much best so much dark so much bright in their aspects
At the time it seemed
We would laaaaaaast
And one day there was a last
Bubble of childhood
Women sprung from each surface where the last bubbles landed
Iridescent souled
Graceful armed
Brilliant headed
Women
All dreams and hearts and keys and planning
And I lay my wand down
In a pool of memories
I don’t know how the four of us made it but I know it was more than magic
And I know each bubble was a million blessings.
Bubbles
