slipping in the rain

grey skies

comes with my demise

crusted mud

and soggy socks

clomping

stomping

seen as

splishing

splashing

lack of care

and silliness

my demise

is a surprise

In your eyes

cherry blossom tears

tasseled flowers

drip from my roots

watered with tears

and your screams

i can hear you

your thundering cry

crumbles me

and yet

my pink drip drops

still plunder your leaves

sunkissed

burning umber clouds

sink deeper into

my souls

buried deep beneath

the overlooking

oh so omniscient

but so far away

come out

indecisive

or stay in

to keep my water flowing
